Martin Wyramon

<![CDATA[Martin (Rink) Wyramon Richmond, Ind. - Martin (Rink) Wyramon, age 73, went to be with Jesus Saturday (May 23, 2015). He was born in Cambridge City, Indiana to Carl and Alberta Wyramon on October 5, 1941. He worked at Wayne Works for 25 years. Martin loved car shows and was an excellent car painter and builder. He was a father and good friend to many. Survivors include his daughter Starletta (Joe) Phenis of Richmond; stepson whom he raised as a small child, Doug Lakes (Julie Moser) of Richmond; brother Fred (Joyce) Wyramon of North Carolina; grandchildren Faith Phenis, Leanna Lakes and Travis Lakes all of Richmond; a special friend and mother of his children Joyce Wyramon and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a special niece Kim Wyramon. Services for Martin will be held on Thursday (May 28, 2015) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastors Michael Stonebraker and Sandy Ewen will officiate. Burial will be in Chester cemetery. Visitation for Martin will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday (May 27, 2015) at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.


Roger Helms

<![CDATA[Roger E. Helms CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Roger E. Helms, age 60, of Centerville, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Ambassador Healthcare. Born July 10, 1954, in Richmond, Indiana, to Robert R. and Rose Bernice Fleagle Helms, Roger lived most of his life in Centerville. He was a 1972 graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City, Indiana. Roger had been a carpenter by trade. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed watching sports. Survivors include his son, Daryl R. Helms of Richmond; grandchildren, Courtney and Hayden Helms, both of Richmond; sisters, Sonya Harrison and Pam Dunning, both of Centerville; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; his dog, Nikita; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Helms. Visitation for Roger E. Helms will be from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. <![CDATA[Patricia A. Bailey CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Patricia A. Bailey, age 69, of Centerville, died Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Reid Hospital. Born October 4, 1945, in Wise, Virginia, to Willie and Sylvia Avonelle Mullins, Patricia had lived in this area since 1962. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Michael Bailey, to whom she was married on September 9, 1966; son, Michael Bailey of Centerville, Indiana; siblings, James Frederick (Charlene) Mullins of Richmond, Brenda Gail (Fletcher) Callahan of Cambridge City, Indiana, Thomas Lee (Marsha) Mullins of Richmond, Kyle Dexter (Ruth) Mullins of Richmond, and Debra Kay (Doug) Burke of Richmond; aunts; uncles, nieces; nephews; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service for Patricia A. Bailey will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Bible Baptist Church, 4274 U.S. 27 North, Richmond, with Rev. Wayne County group works to restore historic cemeteries

Historic cemeteries in eastern Indiana could get face-lifts through a project designed to train volunteers to tend the sites. Western Wayne Heritage Inc. in Cambridge City has created the Restoration in Peace, or R.I.P., project to develop a pool of professionally trained volunteers to help restore historic cemeteries.

<![CDATA[Tena E. Weston RICHMOND, Ind. - Tena E. Weston, age 90, of Richmond, died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Reid Hospital surrounded by her family. Born June 12, 1925, in Chazy, New York, to Frank and Emora Baker River, Tena had lived in Richmond since 1984. She was a member of St. Paul's Nazarene Church. Tena loved the Lord, life, bingo, and the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Janice York of Cambridge City, Indiana, Mary (Dave) Gurley of Vevay, Indiana, and Virginia (Gary) Weilenman of Cambridge City, Indiana; sons, Joseph Weston of Richmond, Jasper (Rhonda) Weston of Richmond, and Norman Weston of Kentucky; 28 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; three sisters; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Buddy Weston; grandson, Wade Weston; four siblings; daughter-in-law, Shirley Weston; and son-in-law, Thomas York. Visitation for Tena E. Weston will be from 12 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. <![CDATA[Maxine Koons CENTERVILLE, Ind. - Maxine Koons, age 93, of Centerville, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at her home. Born January 30, 1922, in Cambridge City, Indiana, to George and Irene Peirson McNutt, Maxine was a life-long resident of this community. She graduated from Lincoln High School. Maxine was a member of the Centerville Christian Church. She was an integral part of the family's dairy farm where she worked with her husband for many years. Maxine was also a homemaker. She loved her home and the beauty of the country. Maxine was a sweet and loving person who loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, James Koons, to whom she was married on August 27, 1944; daughters, Barbara (Lawrence Schuler) McQueen of Abington, Indiana, and Marilyn (Randy) Coldiron of Connersville, Indiana; son, Phillip K. (Brenda) Koons of Centerville, Indiana; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlene Remley; brother, Cecil McNutt; and great-granddaughter, Christine Laloge. Visitation for Maxine Koons will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 E. Main Street, Centerville.
